The Samsung Juke is the latest of many “music-oriented” consumer cell phones. The unit boasts, among other things, a unique switchblade-like swivel display, 2GB of onboard memory for song storage, and a music ID feature. Wannabe rockers rejoice! Guitar Hero III hit store shelves on Sunday, October 28th for all four major consoles. Boasting 71 different tracks (51 of which are master recordings), online play, a new “Guitar Battle” mode, and a co-op career mode, GH3 doesn’t alter the Guitar Hero formula substantially, but the new additions make it worth the money.

The wait is finally over. Released on September 26, 2007 in the United States, Bungie Software’s Halo 3 marks the end of the Halo trilogy that has spanned three video games (with an RTS in the marking), dozens of spin-off products, and a movie deal. Set some time after the events of Halo 2, the third installment once again puts players in the role of Spartan John-117, the Master Chief, in his fight against the alien Covenant.
