Kappa Sigma’s “interest group” shows more than just interest

Bentley’s aspiring fraternity and ‘interest group,’ Kappa Sigma, has been involved in a number of community service projects on and around campus in recent weeks. The group has teamed up with Waltham’s Department of Public Works and the Waltham Police Department in order to lend a helping hand to the community and fulfill its service requirements.

Despite the fact that 800 miles separate Bentley College and Virginia Tech, the effects of the tragedies of April 16th, 2007, still feel very close to home.

Because here we sit at college and though Bentley seems tucked away in a residential area of Boston, Massachusetts, separated from much of the rest of the country, all of us are still college students, young men and women who see an entire world of opportunity in front of us.

Fraternity seeks recognition by Greek Council

The Special Interest Group Alpha Epsilon Pi held two important events in the Greek Community this week. On Monday, they appeared in front of Greek Council for their second formal petition in hopes of being recognized as a fraternity on campus. The petition highlighted the past accomplishments and future goals for the fraternity.
