McLean, Brennan lead way as Bentley rolls over Felician, 77-32

Senior wing Kristy McLean scored 18 points, including 10 in the opening 5:20, and sophomore point guard Kim Brennan added 17, as Bentley University cruised to a 77-32 Valley Cup win over Felician College Sunday afternoon in non-conference women’s basketball at UMass-Lowell.

Falcons fall to UMass Lowell in Final Four for second straight year

In the end there can only be one winner. Unfortunately this was not the year for the Falcons to bring the national championship back to Waltham as they fell 3-2 to the UMass Lowell River Hawks in the national semifinals.
However, there is nothing for the Falcons to be ashamed of as they had another successful season culminating in their second straight appearance in the Final Four.

With many of these universities investing these large funds in one way or another, the falling market has caused many colleges, including Bentley, to analyze how to approach budgets for the 2009-2010 year.

I didn’t get a good grade in 101 and I think that I haven’t improved at all. I know we have a Writing Center but I don’t think it will help.

Bentley and Mercyhurst skate to 1-1 draw; Falcons take three points on the weekend

Senior Pat Percella scored a second period goal and freshman goalie Kyle Rank saved 33 shots but the Bentley hockey team and Mercyhurst skated to a 1-1 draw Saturday night in Atlantic Hockey action. The Falcons’ record moves to 3-4-1 overall and 2-2-1 in Atlantic Hockey.

Kearney joins 1,000-1,000 club, but Bentley bounced by Merrimack from NE-10 playoffs

Junior outside hitter Alex Kearney became only the fourth player in Bentley University history to amass both 1,000 career kills and 1,000 digs, but it wasn’t enough as the third-seeded Falcons fell in three sets to number two Merrimack College in the semifinals of the Northeast-10 Conference Women’s Volleyball Championships Saturday at Pace University’s Goldstein Fitness Center
Bentley, which had been ranked above the Warriors in the NCAA Division II East Regional standings, dropped to 21-11 overall after suffering its second 3-0 loss of the season to Merrimack.

Falcons blow past Holy Family in home opener

The Falcons returned to a familiar site this past Saturday afternoon, and the result was familiar as well. The Falcons man handled an over matched Holy Family team on their way to a 94-61 victory.
The first thirteen minutes of the first half were played fairly evenly as the Falcons held a slight four point advantage with seven minutes remaining in the first half.

2:39 pm Saturday afternoon, a conference attendee in LaCava was reported to be feeling ill. Officers on scene noted that the room was unusually warm. The male party was found on the ground, but was awake and explained he wanted to lie down because he felt dizzy.
