Falcons get on winning track by beating St. Anslem despite seven turnovers

The Falcons were able to put an end to their two game skid this past Saturday as they traveled to New Hampshire and beat the St. Anselm Hawks, 30-12.
At the start of the game, the Falcons were borderline disastrous as they turned the ball over six times on their first nine possessions.

Falcons “Play 4 Cure”; extend winning streak

Just like the last five weeks of the season the Falcon players were solely focused on the task at hand; beat Assumption and take a fourteen game winning streak into the NE-10 playoffs, but it would be false to say that the game was the only happening this past Saturday afternoon.

Times are a changing with the Bentley University women’s Basketball team this season. The team is coming off of a stellar season in which they went 19-11 and received a post season berth. The Lady Falcons have been picked 3rd in preseason polls receiving 191 points in voting.

Police Log

Theft
Tuesday afternoon, a little after 2PM, a staff member at the softball fields reported several items had been stolen from inside the shed adjacent to the field. The items consisted of mostly sports equipment related to softball. There are no suspects and the case is closed unless further information comes to light.

Mixed, a mutli-cultural performance graces Wilder Pavilion

On the night of 21st October the fully packed Wilder Pavilion was graced by an unusual theatrical performance by a talented Maya Lilly who has performed all over the US mainly at colleges in California Connecticut, Virginia and New York. She performed a play entitled Mixed that was on the various races and very informed stereotypic episodes that happen to be the norm of these races.

“The event went really well. It was a bigger success than what we planned, actually,” said Hannah Godfred, Gamma’s activities chair, “It was a really for us on the PR basis, too and it really improved our relations with other groups on campus.
