The weather station on top of Fenway Hall has been collecting and recording weather data since last July. Though most students and faculty are unaware of its existence, the station could play a prominent role in natural science coursework and in assisting Bentley administration in several areas of decision-making.

New game Cineplexity shows potential, but falls short on scoring accuracy

From the makers of the popular Apples to Apples game comes Cineplextity, a new word association game that combines the group fun of Apples with your own knowledge of film and movies. The premise of the game involves players to identify films based on a few characteristics about the setting, characters, actors or themes of the film which are disclosed through choosing cards.

Kneeland, Messina give Bentley 4-1 win in Game 1; Saint Anselm takes nightcap

Senior left fielder Briana Kneeland scored the go-ahead run in the fourth and drove in a pair with a fifth-inning single, and sophomore Ashley Messina scattered six hits, as Bentley took the first game of its Northeast-10 Conference softball doubleheader with Saint Anselm College, 4-1, Tuesday afternoon.

Gilbride, Haggerty Win Top-Flight Doubles at Wheaton Invitational

Bentley juniors Marcia Gilbride and Heather Haggerty won the top-flight doubles competition, highlighting the Falcons’ action at the Wheaton Invitational women’s tennis tournament on Sunday afternoon at the Clark Tennis Courts.
Gilbride and Haggerty captured the first doubles title in the four-team tournament, defeating freshman Chase Fitzsimmons and sophomore Hailee Lange of Holy Cross, 8-4, in the first round and dispatching senior Maya Milic-Strkalj and freshman Ellen Van Fassen of Wheaton in the championship match.

Balbuena Hat Trick Helps #6 Merrimack Hold Off Bentley, 6-5

Freshman Michael Balbuena scored three goals to lead Merrimack to a 6-5 win over Bentley in Northeast-10 Conference men’s lacrosse action on Tuesday night at Warrior Field. The Falcons’ lowest-scoring game since 2005 was largely a battle of goalkeepers, as sophomore Cory Spinale made 19 saves to earn the win for the Warriors and junior Kris Dambach stopped 16 shots for the Falcons.

Bentley Baseball is in full swing, as the regular season has been happening over the last few weeks, after the team’s return from a dismal 0-7 Florida excursion. Bentley has picked up a number of victories so far this season, with their record currently sitting at a still frustrating 9-16.

Falcons fall to Winona State in Final Four tussle after incredible season

The stage was set, the emotion was there along with a chance for the Falcons to revenge last year’s loss to Winona State. With 4,019 screaming fans in attendance and with a trip to the national title game on the line, the scene was incredible. But in the end, it was just not to be for the Falcons; the final score read 86-75, but the game was much closer than that.
