Bentley routs Saint Anselm

A doubles sweep started Bentley on its way to an 8-1 victory over Saint Anselm in the Northeast-10 Conference women’s tennis opener for both teams on Tuesday afternoon at the Carr Center. The Falcons improve to 1-1 overall, while the Hawks were playing in their season opener.

Students were welcomed back to Bentley to see a plethora of changes. Of the many changes one of the most welcomed was the Falcon Market located on the ground level of Collins Hall. Unlike the new card policy this was a change that had students in mind. The market had a previous iteration that was more of a part of the actual bookstore rather than the separate entity that exists now.

Deloitte CEO at Bentley

Warren Buffet believes “It takes thirty years to build a reputation and five minutes to destroy it.” These were some of many meaningful words that James Quigley, CEO of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu said Tuesday at the Raytheon Lecture in Business Ethics. An honorary Bentley alumnus, Quigley shared his hypothesis that those who act unethically will never achieve their career aspirations as the value of those individuals will be diminished in the marketplace.

I remember in third grade, my mom took my older sister and I to see some of the students at the high school where she works in the play Anne Frank’s Diary. Not really understanding or knowing much about the Holocaust, I remember leaving the theater in a state of fear, panic and mostly sadness.

Bentley tops Bryant 2-0

Sophomore Nicole Murphy had the first multiple-goal game of her career, and classmate Alyssa Sliney posted her fifth shutout of the season, as Bentley, ranked ninth nationally in Division II, upended sixth-ranked Bryant University, 2-0, in Northeast-10 Conference field hockey Saturday afternoon.

Falcons squeak by Merrimack, look to Assumption

Even early in this 2007 campaign, it is extremely clear that any NE-10 football game is going to be a battle. In fact, call the NE-10 the SEC of Division II.

# 10 Saint Rose captures 4-1 win over Bentley

A stifling Saint Rose defense and timely goals from junior Sami Brown and freshman Kirsten Bidosky led the Golden Knights to a 4-1 win over Bentley in Northeast-10 Conference women’s soccer action on Tuesday afternoon at the Albany Academy for Girls. Despite taking the loss, the Falcons managed to score the first goal of the season against Saint Rose, who was the last women’s team in the NCAA to surrender a goal after shutting out its opponents in the first seven matches of the season.

Drug Offenses
Early Monday morning, officers responded to Cedar Hall for a reported odor of marijuana, but were unable to locate its source.

Just after 10 p.m. that evening, they responded to Cedar Hall again for another reported odor, and tracked it down to a room on the second floor.
