Falcons edge Pace on 8-hit shutout, extend streak to 5 in 1-0 victory

Junior lefty Joe Herzog and sophomore righty Tim Cadran combined on an eight-hit shutout as Bentley extended its winning streak to four with a 1-0 win over Pace University in Northeast-10 Conference baseball Monday afternoon at DeFelice Field.

The win boosted the Falcons to 11-9 in the NE-10 and 15-22 overall.

Men’s rugby repeats as national champions!

The Men’s Rugby Team of Bentley College has proven itself to be the top team in the nation for division 3 for the second straight year, beating Alleghany College of Pennsylvania and Furman University of South Carolina this past weekend. The final four teams played each other at Wake Forest University in North Carolina.

Fire Alarm

Officers were called to Orchard South on Monday at 2:15 a.m. for a fire alarm activation. When they arrived, they found that the alarm was sounded by a smoke detector on the first floor, caused by burnt food. However, a second smoke detector in the hallway was also tripped, caused by someone spraying a fire extinguisher in the hallway, despite the absence of a fire.
