Rugby claims East Coast National Championship

There was no stopping the Men’s Rugby squad, who was crowned National Champions this past weekend, upholding an undefeated 20-0 record on the season.

The road to post-season success began for this group of fearless athletes on the last Saturday of October 2005, when they routed Springfield on an icy football field in their first ever home playoff game.

Assumption captures eighth straight NE-10 Championship with 5-0 win over Bentley

Assumption College won its eighth consecutive Northeast-10 men’s tennis championship with a 5-0 sweep of Bentley College Sunday morning. The Greyhounds have now won 103 straight NE-10 matches and improved to 16-3 on the season, while Bentley fell to 16-11.

Vicente drives in three as Bentley snaps Stonehill’s streak

Senior right fielder GJ Vicente drove in three runs and scored another as Bentley snapped Stonehill College’s 12-game winning streak, 6-3, in Northeast-10 Conference baseball at Gorman Field Monday afternoon.

Bentley, which took advantage of six Skyhawk errors to score four unearned runs, improved to 15-18-1 overall and 9-13 in the conference.

Look around this campus.what do you see? A state of the art trading room. A new library complete with electronically moveable stacks and decked out group study rooms. A new athletic center, with full weight room and new food services area. Yet, despite all the services that this campus offers, it is bereft of a few essentials.

As I sit in the library today, trying to start in on my work, I am concerned at the noise level and amount of students on cell phones walking around students trying to study. I don’t know if this is a hard thing to grasp or not but I thought libraries were supposed to be quiet.

Police Log

Stolen Item At 9:40pm on Tuesday, Campus Police spoke with a Bentley student who informed them that his moped was stolen out of the back of the Collins Lot between 8 and 10 pm. He also informed Campus Police that the value of his moped was around $750. The officer asked him to come down to the station to give a written statement, which he did.

Camping, concerts and finding a cure- Relay for Life ’06

This past week the Residence Hall Association organized RHA Week 2006, planning events throughout the week and finishing with Relay for Life, a walk in support of the American Cancer Society.

RHA Week is a project designed to build the Bentley community and promote student involvement on campus.

Dear Mistress of Issues,

My parents are helping me to pay for some of Bentley, but I pay for it too by working and I have a scholarship. Because my parents are paying for part of it they seem to think that they can tell me what to major in. I guess they want to make sure that they get a “return on their investment” as they have put it.
