It’s that time again. When the beleaguered fans of Red Sox nation take stock of their team and then look to the south at the juggernaut preparing to once again overwhelm them and beat them into the submission. The juggernaut known as the New York Yankees.

Usually, the Red Sox and Yankees spend the off-season battling each other to sign one or more high profile free agents, with the Yankees usually coming out on top-see Carl Pavano and Alex Rodriguez.

Keith Foulke had arthroscopic surgery on both knees after what he called the most difficult season of his career.

Bentley completes series sweep of #25 AIC

Six-foot-two grad student Carolyn Gottstein scored 12 of her team-high 16 points in the second half, and junior guard Shannon Kirwan added 15 points, six rebounds and six assists, as Bentley finished the regular season by rallying for a 67-59 win over 25th-ranked American International College in Northeast-10 Conference women’s basketball Tuesday night at Butova Gym.

Bentley assures a NE-10 tie with win

Sophomore forward Nate Fritsch and senior guard Danny Whall each posted double-doubles as the Bentley Falcons clinched a share of the regular season Northeast-10 title. A 69-57 victory over American International College in men’s basketball action Tuesday night at the Butova Gymnasium gives them the top seed in the upcoming conference playoffs.

In every classroom there are students that are talkative, some that are timid, and others that are afraid to speak up in the classroom. Although these students are at college they continue to be treated as high school students with class participation being a significant factor in one’s grading.

Athletically, Bentley is one of the more blessed schools in New England. Bentley has 23 varsity men’s and women’s teams, almost all of which are extremely successful. All of them are Division II sports with the exception of one, the men’s hockey team. This is Bentley’s lone Division I sport.

Maliciously Damaged Property On Tuesday, February 14th, CP got a call from a female resident who had noticed her car was vandalized as she approached it. The rear windshield and both side mirrors were severely damaged. The resident had last used her car at 9PM on Sunday and claimed she did not know who could have done this maliciously.

Project Eye-to-Eye connects students to community

In Fall 2005, Bentley became the first college in Massachusetts to partner with Project Eye-to-Eye, a nonprofit organization that pairs college students with learning disabilities with elementary student counterparts.

The program was developed in 1997 by two students at Brown University, Jon Mooney and David Flink.

Bentley Greek life finds a new direction

The largest organization at Bentley has been working tirelessly to make significant changes for the spring semester, and hopes to head in a direction away from that of previous years.

Recruitment for Greek life, which includes the six fraternities and four sororities as well as Greek Council and Pan-Hellenic, was suspended for the last two semesters.

Extremely sparsely, in fact, considering he’s been on a one-way mission since the attacks of 9/11 to rid the world of terrorism, an impossible scenario in the way that he has approached it.
