Junior quarterback Justin Bouch threw four touchdown passes, the last bringing his team from behind with 5:26 left, and rushed for another TD to lead sixth-seeded Edinboro University to a wild 47-44 win over third-seeded Bentley College in the opening round of the 2004 NCAA Division II Northeast Region playoffs Saturday afternoon.

OT Goal Ends Bentley’s Bid for 2nd NCAA Div. II National Championship

Despite two goals by senior Jenn Walker, Bentley College’s bid for a second NCAA Division II field hockey national championship in four years came to an abrupt end when a goal by sophomore Kelly Trevisan seven minutes and 51 seconds into overtime gave Bloomsburg University a 3-2 win and a third straight national championship Sunday afternoon at UMass-Lowell’s Cushing Field.

Vaccine Shortage to Make for Difficult Flu Season

November traditionally marks the beginning of the influenza season, with flu vaccinations in high demand as people try to prevent themselves from getting the virus. This year is expected to be one of the worst seasons in anticipated memory, as a widespread shortage of the vaccine is leaving many people unprotected.

SASA Presents Diwali

On Sunday November 7, the fourth presentation of Diwali at Bentley was put on by SASA, the South Asian Student Association on campus. Although Diwali does belong to one religion in South Asia, it is enjoyed and celebrated by people of all religions: some see it as a festival of lights, some see it as a celebration of religion, others as a celebration of New Years.
