Senior midfielder Carolyn Bolster, previously named the Northeast-10 Conference playoff MVP, has added “Falcon of the Week” kudos to her list of honors after leading the Falcons to their seventh straight NE-10 title. Bolster was also named the Northeast-10, ECAC Division II and womensfieldhockey.com Player of the Week.

Bolster scored what proved to be the game-winner in the win over Assumption in the finals. In the quarterfinal game against UMass-Lowell, she made all three of her penalty strokes, including the decisive game-winner in the third and final round of strokes.

This season, Bolster has started all 20 games for the Falcons. In those 20 games she has scored five goals and has dished out four assists for 14 points, good for fourth on the team. She is the Assumption killer, as she has tallied both game-winning goals against the Greyhounds.

Last season she put up steady numbers, starting in 23 games, scoring three goals, and collecting 10 assists for 16 points.

Bolster looks to lead the Falcons into this weekend’s NCAA’s at Lock Haven, PA, where they are defending Bentley’s first national championship.
