Falcons Receive NE-10 Honors

Six Bentley athletes were recognized by the Northeast – 10 for their performances this past week. Topping the list were freshman Jeff Molesso for football, and freshman Jenny Farrell for women’s cross-country. Both were named Freshman of the Week for their respective sports.

A Smothering Defense Keeps Streak Alive

At the annual Homecoming Game held this past weekend, the Bentley football team kept up their impressive play, and maintained their undefeated record as the team beat the Pace Setters by a score of 33-13. Sophomore quarterback Marc Eddy threw two touchdown passes and senior Brian Whalen attained 182 all-purpose yards in Saturday’s game.

Sophomore midfielder Lisa Tisbert led the Falcons to two crucial wins last week in the Northeast-10 conference. Her performance won her Falcon of the Week Honors. In a 2-1 week she tallied seven points. She scored two amazing goals in the win against Merrimack and scored a goal and tallied an assist in the victory against Southern New Hampshire.

Soderquist, Falcons Grab First Win of the Season

Ryan Soderquist captured his first win as the Bentley College head hockey coach as the Falcons defeated Fairfield University, 6-4, in the consolation game of the Quinnipiac Cup Tournament Saturday night, at the Northford Ice Pavilion. The Falcons used four unanswered goals in the second period to down the Stags.
