What’s Going On?!

If you left your room at all on Sunday, you probably saw that the Greenspace had been converted into a “mini-Fenway” complete with our very own Green Monster. The event was none other than Bentley’s first ever Wiffleball Tournament. The response was terrific! Twenty-two teams of six players each participated in the event while another 200-300 students came as spectators.

Take Responsibility, Attack Abuse

Everyone has seen the familiar “Take Responsibility, Attack Abuse” headline on posters across campus, as well as other publications. This headline is the lead slogan in Bentley’s newest campaign for responsibility with drugs and alcohol.

When moving on to campus this year, each student was given a brochure outlining the tenets of the program.

Christo Goes For The Gold

Imagine swimming 2.4 miles, biking 112 miles and running 26.2 miles. What do you think your total time would be? My first thought was thirty-six hours, maybe even forty-eight, after all, these are miles, 140.6 to be exact.

Well on September 15, Leonard Christo did it in 11 hours, 54 minutes and 45 seconds, coming in 31st in his age group and 47th in the Collegiate Category and 531st overall.

Naked Fish

General Information: Naked Fish is a seafood restaurant with a Cuban twist. There are several locations of Naked Fish in the Massachusetts area, but the closest one to Bentley is at 455 Totten Pond Road in Waltham. The phone number is 781-684-0500. The restaurant takes reservations and gets crowded on weekends for both lunch and dinner, so reservations are recommended.
