Junior Ivan Eskildsen has been named the Falcon of the Week at Bentley College after leading the men’s tennis team to a pair of victories last weekend. The Falcons improved to 3-2 overall and 2-1 in the Northeast-10 with victories over Southern New Hampshire (9-0) and St.

Baseball Team Drops Home Opener

Freshman shortstop Mike Schell had a two-run double in the first and a three-run homer in the second as Holy Cross spoiled the opening of Bentley College’s new Robert DeFelice Field, holding on for an 11-9 win over the Falcons in non-conference baseball Sunday afternoon.

Bentley’s Career Fair was held last Thursday, in the new Student Center. The Career Fair should be an opportunity to network, provide resumes, and hopefully gain an internship or full time job. Unfortunately, it seems that this past year, the Career Fair left a substantial number of students, disheartened, discouraged, and feeling as if their efforts were in vain.

There would be no problem with Bentley’s religious majority-centered academic calendar if there was a campus wide testing and attendance policy for alternate, but equally significant, holidays.

I write this on the eve of Passover, as I continue to explain to my family that I will miss our traditional Seder meal because I have a large examination at 8 p.

Abuse is a Bigger Problem

Lately, many people have watched with keen interest as revelations of sexual abuse by priest surface daily in newspapers across the nation. Certainly, these stories are causing Catholics more sadness than people from other religions, but everyone is concerned whether because of the upset of friends or, on a larger scale, because of the harm done to religion and spirituality.

KPA Collects for Charity

The Kappa Pi Alpha fraternity collected about 25 garbage bags full of clothing to donate to the Salvation Army. The members gathered the clothes from rooms on campus.

Police Log

March 28, 2002 News

Other Agency Assist – Stoughton police called Campus Police to report that a resident of the town had been receiving harassing phone calls from a Bentley College number. The person would shout obscenities repeatedly. The incident is under further investigation.
